Student well-being and high professional standards sit at the heart of my work.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am committed to maintaining safeguarding practice appropriate to working with children and young people.

Online sessions take place on Google Meet, through Google Classroom, with parental knowledge and agreement. Parents and guardians are welcome to be present in the same room, and sessions are never recorded.

Face-to-face sessions, including small groups, take place in my teaching room in OX13. The room is at the front of the house, separate from the rest of my family's home. Face-to-face groups are no larger than five students. The address is shared with families once a place is booked. Parents and carers drop off and collect their child at the start and end of each session, and remain responsible for them before and after.

Communication about sessions, progress and arrangements takes place directly with parents or guardians.

If a safeguarding concern were ever to arise, appropriate action would be taken in line with current safeguarding guidance and, where necessary, concerns would be passed on to the relevant agencies.
